For cameras and readers with a CFexpress Type A slot. Our Type A range includes PCIe 3.0 and PCIe 4.0 versions, used the same way; only the maximum transfer speed differs. The card featured on this page is the PCIe 3.0 model.
Type A is not interchangeable with CFexpress Type B, CFast, CompactFlash or SD. Check that your camera’s slot is marked CFexpress Type A, not a generic “CF” label.
The featured card. Rated up to 800 MB/s read and write in any host; a PCIe 4.0 camera or reader does not raise that figure.
Our flagship Type A card, at up to about 1800 MB/s in reference PC tests. Choose it when offload speed matters.
Supported recording modes depend on your camera, its firmware and the card speed each format needs. Our Sony FX3 footage shows a Type A card in the setup tested. No VPG certification is claimed. A card reader is not included. Send us your model and recording format for help checking the match.

Contact Lambda GrovePCIe 3.0 is the card’s interface. There is no CFexpress 3.0 specification, and PCIe 3.0 cards like this one belong to CFexpress 2.0. Some shops list them as “CFexpress 3.0”. Our CFexpress Type A Memory Card - PCIe 4.0 uses the CFexpress 4.0 standard. Both are CFexpress Type A cards for cameras and readers with a CFexpress Type A slot.
No. Both are CFexpress Type A and are used the same way in cameras and readers with a CFexpress Type A slot. This card is rated up to 800 MB/s, and the PCIe 4.0 card is faster. Recording modes still depend on your camera’s firmware and media requirements. Type A is not Type B, CFast or CompactFlash.
No. This card is rated up to 800 MB/s whatever the host. A CFexpress 4.0 Type A reader still works with it.

You can ask for a change-of-mind return within 14 calendar days after your order is delivered. Written approval and an RMA number are needed before you send anything back, and an approved return of a non-defective item has a 15% restocking fee where the law allows.
